[origin: EP0120422A2] A magnetic release consists of a magnetic armature (17), a magnetic core (14), a spring (20), arranged between the magnetic armature and core and pressing them apart, and a coil former (11). To simplify the installation, the coil former (11) is bent from a sheet part of non- magnetic material and has straps (12, 13) facing one another on both its end faces, the distance between the straps being smaller than the external diameter of the magnetic armature and magnetic core. The two straps (12 and 13) secure the parts located inside the coil former, so that the coil former and the parts located therein form a unit whose individual parts cannot be lost. <IMAGE>
