[origin: US4667977A] This method of manufacturing laminated skis by the so-called wet process consists in incorporating at least one metal blade or a sheet of high-strength fibres among the strata, the width of the blade or sheet being inferior to that of the ski, and the width of its ends decreases gradually to a point in the transitional area between the heel and body and also in the transitional area between the body and the tip of the ski.

Procédé de fabrication de skis par stratification humide dans lequel on incorpore parmi les strates au moins une feuille métallique ou une feuille composée de fibres de haute résistance. La largeur de cette feuille (5) est inférieure à celle du ski, la largeur de ses extrémités diminue progressivement pour se terminer en pointe dans la zone de transition (1) entre le talon et le corps (2) du ski ainsi que dans la zone de transition (3) entre le corps (2) et la spatule (4).
