Abstract (en)
The method operates automatically and consists firstly of slipping the briefs, waist first, on to a former (13 - 18) consisting of two reversing devices (13 - 16) in such a way that the tubular body of the briefs is stretched and the reversing devices extend out through the legs of the briefs. The briefs are then gripped at the waist by two gripping devices (23, 24). Two movements then take place: firstly, that of the two reversing devices (13 - 16) towards each other so that they grip the bottom of the briefs; secondly, that of the former from front to back so that the bottom of the briefs passes through the tubular body. Once they are inside out, the briefs are released from the gripping devices. The two reversing devices consist of two rods (13, 14) whose ends (15, 16) are curved towards each other.

Le procédé pour retourner automatiquement les slips consiste d'abord à enfiler le slip, en l'introduisant par le côté ceinture, sur une forme d'enfilage (13-18) comportant deux éléments de retournement (13-16), de telle sorte que le corps tubulaire du slip soit tendu et que les éléments de retournement dépassent par les ouvertures des jambes du slip, puis à saisir le slip au niveau de la ceinture par deux moyens de préhension (23,24). Ensuite, s'effectuent deux déplacements: celui des deux éléments de retournement (13-16) l'un vers l'autre de sorte qu'ils enserrent le fond du slip, puis celui de la forme d'enfilage d'avant en arrière de sorte que le fond du slip passe à travers le corps tubulaire. Une fois retourné, le slip est libéré des moyens de préhension. Les deux éléments de retournement consistent en deux tiges (13,14) dont les extrémités (15,16) sont recourbées l'une vers l'autre.
