[origin: WO8401469A1] The breaking device comprises a main contact (1) enclosed in a low pressure sealed housing (3) and an auxiliary contact (2) consisting of a sectioning blade (8) and of a horn (7) having a closure range (17) situated between two opening ranges (18 and 19). The closure range (17) of said auxiliary contact (2) extends on either side of the switching position of the main contact (1), and the sectioning blade (8) is within the opening range when the device is in the triggered and untriggered positions. The breaking device is thereby very resistant since the elements of the main contact are protected on one hand from the outer corrosion agents and on the other hand from damaging due to underload switching.

Le dispositif d'interruption comprend un contact principal (1) enfermé dans une enceinte étanche (3) à basse pression et un contact auxiliaire (2) constitué par un couteau de sectionnement (8) et une corne (7) présentant une plage de fermeture (17) située entre deux plages (18 et 19) d'ouverture. La plage de fermeture (17) de ce contact auxiliaire (2) s'étend de part et d'autre de la position de commutation du contact principal (1), et le couteau de sectionnement (8) est dans une plage d'ouverture dans les positions enclenchée et déclenchée du dispositif. Le dispositif d'interruption présente de ce fait une grande endurance puisque les éléments du contact principal sont protégés d'une part des agents extérieurs de corrosion et d'autre part de l'endommagement dû à une commutation sous charge.
