The device for applying drinking straws (10), which are wrapped in protective envelopes and can be supplied by means of a straw belt (9), to ready-made beverage packages (24) possesses a conveying unit (13) which conveys the straw belt (9) along a straight path, preferably in a vertical plane. For this purpose, at least one transport cam (13) having at least one recess (16) for accommodating a packaged drinking straw (10) is provided, the transport cam (13) in the transport plane effecting a rectilinear movement in the conveying direction and being moved out of the transport plane after traversing the conveying route and outside the transport plane being moved back into the starting position. <IMAGE>

Die Vorrichtung zum Anbringen von in Schutzhüllen eingehüllten und mittels eines Halmgurtes (9) zuführbaren Trinkhalmröhrchen (10) an vorfabrizierte Getränke-Verpakkungsbehälter (24) besitzt ein Förderaggregat (13), das den Halmgurt (9) längs einer geradlinigen Bahn fördert, vorzugsweise in einer vertikalen Ebene. Hierzu ist mindestens eine Transportnocke (13) mit mindestens einer Aussparung (16) zur Aufnahme eines verpackten Trinkhalmes (10) vorgesehen, wobei die Transportnocke (13) in der Transportebene in Förderrichtung eine geradlinie Bewegung durchführt, nach Durchlauf des Förderweges aus der Transportebene heraus- und außerhalb der Transportebene in die Anfangsstellung zurückbewegt wird.
