Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0121229A2] The emissions with tar-containing dust are extracted at the individual emission sources, for example where the ovens are charged with coal, at the coke oven doors and especially during pushing of coke. The emissions are extracted via hoods and fixed gas headers and then dedusted dry in a hose filter installation, the filters being cleaned by introducing compressed air at regular intervals. According to the invention, the complete hose filter installation is cleaned during the coke-pushing intervals by an injected compressed air surge into each individual filter hose, with the exit air fan running in the part-load range. If the filling gas emissions are also extracted, the complete hose filter installation is also cleaned during the coke- pushing intervals, while the filling gas emissions are extracted. Figure 1 should be attached to the abstract.
