[origin: US4550550A] A method and system for packaging insulation units comprising a receiving section that indexes each roll-set that comes off a production line, a roll breaking section that separates the roll-set into individual units and spaces each unit, a diverter section that verifies height and facing and then diverts a selected roll unit to the proper packaging material and a packaging section that receives a roll unit, orients it properly, and packages it in the proper packaging. The system allows rejection of unsuitable product and reduced handling of product by employees.

Procédé et dispositif pour emballer des unités d'isolant d'un matériau isolant, comprenant une section de réception (100) qui réalise l'indexage de chaque ensemble de rouleaux (90) qui sort d'une chaine de fabrication, une section de séparation (200) des rouleaux qui réalise la subdivision des rouleaux en rouleaux individuels et les espace réciproquement, une section de dérivation (300) qui vérifie la hauteur et le revêtement de surface et ensuite dirige un rouleau sélectionné en direction du matériau d'emballage approprié et une section d'emballage (400) qui reçoit un rouleau, l'oriente correctement et l'emballe dans l'emballage correct. Le système permet le rejet de tout produit inapproprié et rend possible une manipulation réduite du produit par les employés.
