[origin: US4574011A] The alloy of the invention comprises 75 to 90% by weight of a mixture of carbides, for example WC and TiC, and 10 to 25% of a binder. This binder comprises Co, Ni and Ru, representing together 7 to 15% of the alloy, as well as Mo2C. This alloy is useful for the production of decorative articles having a density similar to that of stainless steel.

L'alliage selon l'invention comporte 75 à 90% en poids d'un mélange de carbures, par exemple WC et TiC, et 10 à 25% d'un liant. Ce liant comporte du Co, Ni et Ru, représentant ensemble 7 à 15% de l'alliage, ainsi que du Mo2C. Cet alliage permet de réaliser des articles décoratifs dont la densité est analogue à celle de l'acier inoxydable.
