[origin: EP0122125A1] There is disclosed a silver halide emulsion comprising monodispersed silver halide grains in which a selenium sensitization and a sulfur sensitization are carried out simultaneously or separately in the presence of a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound capable of forming a complex with silver. The silver halide emulsion of this invention does not cause photographic fog and can attain high sensitivity of a photographic material.
