[origin: EP0251343A2] Cartons of cigarettes are packages containing a large number (e.g. ten) of packs (30) of cigarettes. By a special design of these cartons of cigarettes or of a common blank (93), the carton of cigarettes can be divided into partial packs (semi-cartons 34, 35), each of these partial packs forming an easy-to-handle and saleable unit just like the complete carton of cigarettes. <IMAGE>

Zigarettenstangen sind Verpackungen mit einer größeren Anzahl (z.B. zehn) Zigaretten-Packungen (30). Durch besondere Ausbildung dieser Zigarettenstange bzw. eines gemeinsamen Zuschnitts (33) wird eine Teilung der Zigarettenstange unter Bildung von Teilpackungen (Halbstangen 34, 35) ermöglicht, wobei jede dieser Teilpackungen ebenso wie die vollständige Zigarettenstange eine handhabungs- und verkaufsfähige Einheit bilden.
