The invention relates to up-and-over doors, especially heavy doors for garages and the like, each with a stationary door frame having at least one essentially vertical frame side part, at least one door leaf tiltable about a horizontal axis within the door frame and at least one link pivotable together with the door leaf in the same direction of rotation and in the form of a double-armed lever with lever arms of unequal length and with a pivot bearing arranged on a reinforcement of the vertical frame side part. The longer lever arm of the link is articulated on the door leaf, and attached to the shorter lever arm is a suspension of one end of a spring arrangement which has at least one spring and a fastening of its other end assigned to the reinforcement of the vertical frame side part. The invention is intended to develop an up-and-over door of this type to the effect that the stress on the door frame caused especially by bending forces is reduced in a constructively simple and space- saving way, and at the same time the danger of damage to the parts of the spring arrangement located inside the garage, its suspension or fastening and the adjacent constructional elements is reduced, without their easy accessibility being impaired. This is achieved in that the reinforcement is designed as a frame unit which absorbs the load and the counterforces and is connected rigidly to the door frame and which extends essentially in the plane of the shorter lever arm and of the spring arrangement and surrounds at least the latter to at least the height of the pivot bearing in a contour-limiting manner. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft kippbare Tore, insbesondere schwere Tore für Garagen und dgl., mit je einem feststehenden Tor-Rahmen, der wenigstens ein im wesentlichen vertikales Rahmenseitenteil aufweist, wenigstens einem innerhalb des Tor-Rahmens um eine horizontale Achse kippbaren Torflügel und wenigstens einen zusammen mit dem Torflügel in jeweils gleicher Drehrichtung verschwenkbaren Lenker in Form eines doppelarmigen Hebels mit ungleich langen Hebelarmen und einem an einer Verstärkung des vertikalen Rahmenseitenteils angeordneten Drehlager, wobei der längere Hebelarm des Lenkers am Torflügel angelenkt und am kürzeren Hebelarm eine Aufhängung des einen Endes einer Feder-Anordnung angebracht ist, welche wenigstens eine Feder und eine der Verstärkung des vertikalen Rahmenseitenteils zugeordnete Befestigung ihres anderen Endes aufweist. Die Erfindung soll ein kippbares Tor der eingangs erwähnten Art so weiterbilden, daß die Beanspruchung des Tor-Rahmens insbesondere durch Biegekräfte in konstruktiv einfacher und platzsparenderweise reduziert und gleichzeitig die Gefahr der Beschädigung der im Garageninneren angeordneten Teile der Feder-Anordnung, ihrer Aufhängung bzw. Befestigung und der angrenzenden Bauelemente verringert ist, ohne deren liechte Zugänglichkeit zu beeinträchtigen. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Verstärkung als ein die Auflast und die Gegenkräfte aufnehmendes und mit dem Tor-Rahmen starr verbundenes Rahmenwerk ausgebildet ist, welches sich im wesentlichen in der Ebene des kürzeren Hebelarmes und der Feder-Anordnung erstreckt und zumindest letztere bis wenigstens zur Höhe des Drehlagers konturbegrenzend umgibt.
