1. Upholstered furniture consisting of a number of cushioned elements (10), that are linked with each other, can be stood up against each other, are of cylindrical design, are of serpentine arrangement when stood in a direct line, and are mounted on supports, whereby the supports between the first und last elements (10) of the serpentine formed in this manner are joined up by means of an interlocking fitting (20) on both ends, the fitting (20) consisting of two adjustable parts (31, 34), each one fitting into another (31 or 34), thus enabling the fitting (20) to join up with the corresponding one on the adjacent element (10), characterized by the fact that the cushioned elements (10) are arranged on pivot shafts (40), that the pivot shafts (40) arranged in the serpentine between the first and last elements (10) of the serpentine arrangement of elements (10) are joined up by means of an interlocking fitting (20), that one part (31) of the fitting can be adjusted in relation to the other part (34) by means of an excenter (42), and that both parts (31, 34) of the fitting (20) are equipped with a part (34 or 31) that is allocated to the fitting (20) of the adjacent element so as to form a connecting bracket (30) in one piece.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Polstermöbel mit einer Anzahl von Polsterelementen, die miteinander verbunden und gegeneinander verstellbar sind. Wesentlich mehr Einstellmöglichkeiten ohne aufwendiges, teures Gestell werden nach der Erfindung dadurch erhalten, daß die Polsterelemente walzenförmig ausgebildet und auf Lagerwellen angeordnet sind, daß die Polsterelemente als Schlange unmittelbar aneinandergereiht sind, daß die Lagerwellen der zwischen dem ersten und letzten Polsterelement der Schlange angeordneten Polsterelement an beiden Enden mit jeweils einem selbsthemmenden Taumelbeschlag mit gegeneinander verstellbaren Beschlagteilen gekoppelt sind und daß die beiden Beschlagteile eines Taumelbeschlages mit dem jeweils komplementären Beschlagteil der den beiden benachbarten Polsterelementen zugeordneten Taumelbeschläge verbunden, insbesondere zu einstückigen Verbindungslaschen zusammengefaßt sind.
