1. A fixed contact which is to be arranged in the wall of insulating cylinders (1) of tap changers for transformers, in which the end of a contact carrier, which is led through the insulating cylinder (1) towards the outside, is connected to winding leads of tapping windings, and in which pins (6) of the contact carriers (2), which protrude into the interior of the insulating cylinder (1), carry exchangeable wear pieces (3) which cooperate with a movable counter-contact, characterised in that the wear pieces (3) surround the pins (6) in the form of a cup and under contact pressure rest on the end faces of the pins (6), that each wear piece (3) is held on the respective pin (6) by at least one clamping sleeve (7) arranged parallel to the axis of the changer ; and that bores (10) in the wear pieces (3) which serve to accommodate the clamping sleeves (7), are at a slightly smaller distance from the inner bottom of the cup-shaped wear pieces, which presses on the end faces of the pin (6), than are bores (11), in the pins (6), through which the clamping sleeves (7), likewise pass from the end face thereof.

Festkontakte von Lastwählern unterliegen einer starken Kontakterosion und müssen demzufolge verhältnismäßig häufig ausgewechselt werden. Üblicherweise werden jedoch lediglich Verschleißstücke (3) erneuert. Erfindungsgemäß wird vorgeschlagen, diese Verschleißstücke (3) durch parallel zur Wählerachse ausgerichtete Spannhülsen (7) auf Zapfen (6) von Kontaktträgern (2) zu befestigen und dabei die Verschleißstücke (3) mit der Federkraft der Spannhülsen (7) ständig auf Stirnseiten von Zapfen (6) der Kontaktkörper (2) zu drücken.
