1. A key (17, 22, 31) for cylinder locks, the variation in profile of which is formed by zones which form individual ribs and grooves (18 to 21, 25 to 30, 37 to 41) and which are themselves formed by circles concentric about a straight centreline (23, 24, 32, 33, 34) running in the cross-section or the shank of the key and planes extending from the said centreline after the style of rays, characterized in that the key (17, 22, 31) is made as a flat key and the cross-section of the shank of the key has a number of straight centrelines (23, 24, 32, 33, 34) arranged one above the other in such a way that the zones forming grooves lie open towards the wide faces of the key.

Die Erfindung betrifft Schlüssel für Zylinderschlösser, mit auf den Schlüsselbreitseiten (8, 9) angeordneten Nuten (10-16) und Rippen zur Schließanlagen-Profilvariation und schlägt zur Erzielung der Profilvariation bei trotzdem guter Übersichtlichkeit der Rippen/Nutenverteilung vor, daß die Seitenwände der Nuten ausgerichtet sind auf mindestens eine im Schlüsselschaftquerschnitt verlaufende Gerade (7, 23, 24, 32, 33,34), welche den Mittelpunkt bildet zu den konvex gebogenen Bodenflächen dieser Nuten.
