Method of constructing rotationally symmetrical concrete structures of large diameters, wherein successive annular sections (3) are formed and cast, characterised in that each annular section (3) is formed and cast in individual sectors (4), the inner shuttering (6) of each sector (4) being removed following the grouting and setting of that sector, and the outer shuttering (5) being left in the position of use as a supporting part for the sector (4) until the said sector has hardened, or until an annular section (3) has been formed.
