[origin: US4638219A] An apparatus for adjusting the position of the deflector of a television tube, particularly a color tube, especially so that the tube deflector assembly may become autoconvergent. The apparatus comprises a platform movable in accordance with n degrees of freedom and n elements such as arms, each of which has its displacement controlled in accordance with only one degree of freedom, for example a simple translatory displacement in order to assure the mobility of the platform in accordance with the n degrees of freedom.

Appareil de réglage de la convergence statique et ou/de a pureté d'un tube de télévision en couleurs notamment du type à masque perforé. Un anneau aimantable (10) entoure le col (11) du tube. Des pôles sont formés dans cet anneau grâce à des bobines (16) déplaçables de façon que ces bobines et/ou leurs noyaux soient appliqués contre la périphérie de l'anneau aimantable (10). L'application des bobines ou de leurs noyaux contre l'anneau rend constante la relation entre le courant fourni à ces bobines et l'intensité de l'aimantation obtenue.
