Abstract (en)

1. An arrangement for rapid warm-up and thermal regulation of the lubricating oil (18) of an internal combustion engine of the type which is cooled by a cooling fluid (12) having a high specific heat and a low viscosity such as a mixture of water and additives, which circulates around the cylinders (6) or the liners (8) of said engine, characterised in that it comprises, around said cylinders (6) or liners (8), a first annular chamber (10) in which the cooling fluid (12) of the engine circulates and a second annular chamber (14) in which the lubrificating oil (18) of the engine circulates, said second chamber at least partially surrounding the first chamber so as to form therewith a heat exchanger.

Procédé pour la mise en température rapide et la régulation thermique de l'huile de lubrification (18) d'un moteur à combustion interne du type refroidi par un fluide refroidisseur (12 à chaleur spécifique élevée et à faible viscosité tel qu'un mélange eau - additifs, circulant autour des cylindres (6) ou des chemises (8) de ce moteur. Suivant l'invention, ce procédé consiste en un échange thermique entre ce fluide refroidisseur (12) et l'huile de lubrification (18) au niveau des zones supérieures de ces cylindres ou de ces chemises, cette huile (18) étant susceptible de capter des calories provenant de la culasse (2) de ce moteur pour les transférer à ce fluide refroidisseur (12). Application: notamment au refroidissement et à la lubrification des moteurs à combustion interne.
