Abstract (en)
The boot for skiing, mountain or country walking comprises a rigid shell (1) on which is articulated, about a transverse spindle (8), an upper (2, 3). The upper is articulated around two portions of the spindle (8) which are locked in respect of transverse translational movement and capable of being displaced while each is being guided in a longitudinal slot arranged in the bottom of the upper (2, 3). The boot also advantageously comprises a tongue (12), at the base of the leg, articulated (at 13) transversely relative to the shell (1). The articulations (8, 13) with slots (9, 14) make it possible to enable the ankle to move naturally whilst being securely held. <IMAGE>

La chaussure pour la pratique du ski, de la montagne ou de la randonnée comporte une coque rigide (1) sur laquelle est articulée autour d'un axe transversal (8) une tige (2, 3). L'articulation de la tige se fait autour de deux parties d'axe (8) arrêtées en translation transversale et susceptibles de se déplacer en y étant guidées chacune dans une lumière longitudinale ménagée dans le bas de tige (2, 3). Avantageusement la chaussure comporte également une languette (12) de bas de jambe articulée (13) transversalement par rapport à la coque (1). Les articulations (8, 13) à lumières (9, 14) permettent de restituer à la cheville ses mouvements naturels tout en la maintenant fermement.
