1. Pipe-cleaning unit having at least two flexibly interconnected cleaning units (1a, 1b) arranged one behind another, and drive means (2), which are flexibly connected with one of the cleaning units (1a, 1b), so that the pipe-cleaning unit can also pass through curved pipe sections, the cleaning unit (1a, 1b) having in each case a collar of rigid knife arms (3), which are swivelably mounted on a head (7) and provided with ribs (21), and whose ribs (21) branch out at the free end of the knife arm (3) in two V-shaped diverging blades (22), there being further provided springs (12), which are intended to press the knife arms (3) against the inner wall of the pipe, and there being provided, finally, on the head (7) of the front cleaning unit (1a) axially projecting ribs (10), which are intended to break up and crush contaminants or scales projecting as far as the axis of the pipe, characterized in that the axial knife length is at least approximately equal to the nominal diameter of the cleaning unit (1a, 1b) or to the internal diameter of a pipe, for which the same is dimensioned, in that further each knife arm (1a, 1b) has a radial outer rib (21) up to the immediate vicinity of its bearing (8) in the head (7), and in that finally the ridge of the rib (21) runs at least approximately radially outwards from the bearing (8) of the knife arm (1a, 1b).

Das Reinigungsgerät weist mindestens ein Reinigungsaggregat mit einem Kranz von in einem Kopf (7) schwenkbar gelagerten Messerarmen (3) auf. Durch eine kompakte Ausbildung des Reinigungsaggregates mit einer Messerlänge die etwa dem Nenndurchmesser des Reinigungsgerätes bzw. des zu reinigenden Rohres entspricht, durch etwa radial aus dem Kopf (7) austretende Messerarme (3), durch Ausbildung dieser Messerarme mit einem etwa dreieckigen, verwindungssteifen Profil und durch Unterstützung der Messerarme durch kräftige Federpakete wird eine intensivere Wirkung des Reinigungsaggregats erreicht.
