In order also to be able to control the brightness of fluorescent lamps with an increased ignition voltage (e.g. lamps with a 26 mm diameter) using a conventional dimmer circuit, the additional arrangement of an ignition unit (6) is proposed which supplies ignition pulses which are synchronised to the rise of the chopped alternating voltage. The ignition device (6) is connected on the input side to the outputs of a dimmer (1) and on the output side to the electrodes (9) of a fluorescent lamp (7). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Um auch Leuchtstofflampen mit erhöhter Zündspannung (z.B. Lampen mit 26 mm Durchmesser) mit einer üblichen Dimmerschaltung in ihrer Helligkeit steuern zu können, wird die zusätzliche Anordnung eines Zündgerätes (6) vorgeschlagen, das mit dem Anstieg der angeschnittenen Wechselspannung synchronisierte Zündimpulse liefert. Das Zündgerät (6) ist eingangsseitig mit den Ausgängen eines Dimmers (1) verbunden und ausgangsseitig mit den Elektroden (9) einer Leuchtstofflampe (7).
