[origin: WO8403846A1] The mixture of powder and carrier gas coming axially out of a nozzle is widened by an adjusting air flow coming out radially thus causing the formation of the desired spraying cloud. The electrostatic charge of the powder is carried out by means of a ionized gas flow which, separately from the adjusting air flow, is introduced in the powder and carrier gas mixture.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum elektrostatischen Aufsprühen von Pulverteilchen auf eine zu beschichtende Oberfläche. Das aus einer Düse (19) axial austretende Fördergas-Pulvergemisch wird von einem radial austretenden Steuerluftstrom aufgeweitet und damit die gewünschte Sprühwolke gebildet. Die elektrostatische Aufladung des Pulvers erfolgt durch einen ionisierten Gasstrom, der getrennt von dem Steuerluftstrom in das Fördergas-Pulvergemisch eingeleitet wird.
