[origin: US4585289A] Extension (1) of a coaxial cable core (21) made of a tube. This extension is characterized by the fact that it includes a cylindrical socket (2) with tapered end (4) of a diameter larger than the inner diameter of the tube and made flexible by longitudinal slots (6), a polygonal nut (10) of which angles (11) are introduced in longitudinal slots (6) of socket (2), a traction screw (12) which is screwed into the nut and includes a pick-up end (16); this traction screw abutting against the tube, after introducing the nut into socket (2), then this socket in core (21), thus pulling the nut longitudinally to push apart and tighten the flexible tapered section on core (21) inner wall (21').

Prolongateur (1) d'une ame (21) d'un câble coaxial constituée d'un tube. Ce prolongateur est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une douille cylindrique (2) comportant une extrémité conique (4) de diamètre supérieur au diamètre intérieur du tube et rendue flexible par des fentes longitudinales (6), un écrou polygonal (10) dont les arêtes (11) sont introduites dans les fentes longitudinales (6) de la douille (2), une vis de traction (12) se vissant dans l'écrou et comportant une extrémité de reprise (16), cette vis de traction en butée sur le tube, après avoir préalablement introduit l'écrou dans la douille (2) puis cette douille dans l'âme (21), tirant alors l'écrou longitudinalement pour écarter et serrer la partie conique flexible sur la paroi intérieure (21') de l'âme (21). Application aux connecteurs de câbles coaxiaux.
