[origin: US4574525A] A device for operating a swiveling or mobile body element intended particularly to seal an access opening to a control or observation post by a cover that can be moved angularly around a pivot pin fastened to the body by means of an operating and locking handle. The operating handle includes a gripping element and a control element. A hinge and connecting pin are provided between these elements and an interlocking mechanism between the control element and the pivot pin.

Dispositif de manoeuvre d'un élément de carrosserie (11) pivotant destiné notamment à obturer une ouverture d'accès à un poste de pilotage ou d'observation et déplaçable angulairement autour d'un pivot (13) fixé à la carrosserie (10) au moyen d'un levier de manoeuvre et de verrouillage (14), caractérisé par le fait que le levier de manoeuvre (14) comporte un élément de préhension (16) et un élément de commande (17), un axe d'articulation et de liaison (18) entre ces éléments et un mécanisme d'enclenchement (20) entre l'élément de commande (17) et le pivot (13).
