Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0124687A2] The packaging (1) consists of a trough part (2) and a lid part (3) which are preferably fixedly connected to each other and can be pivoted towards each other. A firm, but detachable connection is expediently provided between the trough part (2) and the lid part (3), which connection allows the packaging (1) to be opened and thus the soap placed therein only to be removed after exertion of a certain tensile force, and by means of which connection it is possible to close the packaging (1) again. For this purpose, a resilient engagement between the trough part (2) and the lid part (3) is suitable, such as by an indentation (18) with a set-back part (19) in the one part and a congruent raised part (21) with a projection (22) in the other part. The packaging (1) is preferably made from a plastic film in a single operation, in which case notchings (6), such as incisions, wall thickness reductions, impressions or the like may be provided to achieve the swivelability. When the soap has been placed inside, it is sufficient to fold the lid part (3) over the trough part (2) in order to effect the closure of the packaging (1). The packaging (1) can easily bear advertisements or the like. In order to prevent the soap from becoming swamped, holes, profiled webs or velvet-type roughened portions may be provided in at least that portion of the trough part which receives the soap. <IMAGE>
