[origin: US4602464A] A residential building, particularly a residential building having a timber skeleton, is described, which has walls that extend at right angles to each other and are arranged in accordance with a square-field grid plan having a grid line spacing A. That housing embodies the following features: (a) A cell is defined, which has a plan form of a square having a side length 2A; (b) the residential building has in a plan view three parallel axes, which extend outside the cell and two of which are aligned with two mutually opposite sides of the cell; one of said two axes extends beyond at least one of the two other sides of the cell, which extend at right angles to said axes; the third of said axes extends from the center of the other of the two sides of the cell which extend at right angles to said axes; (c) load-carrying means are provided on said axes at least at part of the grid line intersections; (d) a ceiling structure of the building consists of sections which are vertically offset along two of said three axes; one of said last-mentioned two axes is the axis that extends from the center of one side of the cell.

Es wird ein Wohngebäude, insbesondere in Holzskelettbauweise mit rechtwinklig zueinander angeordneten Wänden, welche auf einem quadratischen Raster mit der Rasterweite A angeordnet sind beschrieben, welches die nachfolgenden Merkmale aufweist: a) es ist eine im Grundriß quadratische Zelle (1) mit der Seitenlänge 2A vorgesehen; b) das Wohngebäude weist im GrunDriß drei zueinander parallele, außerhalb der Zelle (1) verlaufende Achsen (6, 7, 8) auf, von denen zweie (6, 7) mit zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Seiten (2, 3) der Zelle (1) zusammenfallen und von diesen wenigstens eine über die eine (4) der beiden übrigen, quer zur Achsrichtung verlaufenden Seiten (4, 5) der Zelle (1) hinaus verlängert ist, wohingegen die dritte Achse (8) von der Mitte der anderen quer zur Achsrichtung verlaufenden Seite (5) der Zelle (1) ausgeht; c) auf den Achsen (6, 7, 8) sind wenigstens in einem Teil der Rasterschnittpunkte Stützen (13) angeordnet; d) entlang von zweien der Achsen (6, 7, 8), von denen eine die von der Mitte einer Seite (5) der Zelle (1) ausgehende Achse (8) ist, ist ein vertikaler Versatz in den Geschoßdecken vorgesehen.
