1. A fire-proof door having a door leaf (1) which consists of wood, particularly chipboard material, at least in the frame region and which comprises, in at least one portion of its periphery, at least one insulating layer (3) of fireproof material, particularly asbestos cement or the like, which is disposed in a groove (4) extending from the front end of the door leaf parallel to the plane of the door leaf, in which the door leaf (1) comprises at least one fire-protection strip (6) of a material which foams under the action of heat in its marginal region situated opposite the frame (8), characterised in that the groove (4) is disposed substantially in the central plane of the door leaf (1) and that provided at the open end of the groove (4) is a recess (5) which extends over this and in which the fire-protection strip (6) is embedded, covering the insulating layer (3).

Feuerschutztüre mit einem wenigstens im Rahmenbereich aus Holz, insbesondere Spanplattenmaterial, bestehenden Türblatt, welches zur Vermeidung der Abbrandgefahren an den gefährdeten Randbereichen und zur Verminderung der Gefahr der Bildung von Spalten zum Zargenbereich hin wenigstens in einem oder mehreren Teilbereichen seines Umfanges mit wenigstens einer Isolierschicht aus feuerbeständigem Werkstoff, insbesondere Asbestzement oder dergleichen, versehen ist, die sich vom Umfang des Türblattes gesehen in Richtung der Türblattmitte und etwa parallel zur Torblattebene erstreckt.
