In the covering for a wall (1) or ceiling composed of wood panels (9) provided on their longitudinal sides with grooves (10), the panels being mounted by means of claws (7), engaging in the grooves (10), on profiles (2), the claws (7) are guided slidingly on the profiles (2) and the profiles (2) are fastened to the wall (1) or ceiling by means of anchorages (3, 4) which consist of screws (3) as tension elements, which engage through the profiles (2) into plugs set in the wall (1) or ceiling, and of elastic spacers (4) as flexible compression elements directed oppositely to the tension elements and cooperating with them, which are supported against the wall (1) or ceiling and against the profiles (2). The substructure of this covering, consisting of the profiles (2), can be mounted, and above all adjusted, particularly easily and quickly by means of the screws (3) and elastic spacers (4). Bei einer Vorsatzschalung für eine Wand (1) oder Decke aus an ihren Längsseiten mit Nuten (10) versehenen Holzpaneelen (9), die mittels in die Nuten (10) greifender Krallen (7) an Profilen (2) montiert sind, sind die Krallen (7) an den Profilen (2) gleitend geführt und sind die Profile (2) an der Wand (1) bzw. Decke befestigt mittels Verankerungen (3, 4), die aus durch die Profile (2) hindurch in die Wand (1) bzw. Decke gesetzte Dübel greifenden Schrauben (3) als Zugelementen und gegen die Wand (1) bzw. Decke sowie gegen die Profile (2) abgestützten elastischen Abstandhaltern (4) als den Zugelementen entgegengerichteten und mit ihnen zusammenwirkenden nachgiebigen Druckelementen bestehen. Die aus den Profilen (2) bestehende Unterkonstruktion dieser Schalung ist mittels der Schrauben (3) und elastischen Abstandhalter (4) besonders leicht und schnell zu montieren und vor allem zu justieren. Die gleitende Führung der Krallen vereinfacht die Montage weiter.
