A floor drain with a housing open at the top, from which a horizontal drainage connection branches off laterally, and with an insert which is removably arranged in the housing, is sealed off from it, and has a downflow baffle for forming a siphon, and with an insertable top piece possesses, for improved cleaning ability and greater design variability, on the removable insert, additionally the overflow wall and a base for the formation of a pot which receives the water seal of the siphon, the clear width of the top piece being greater than the horizontal dimensions of the insert. A rolling gasket is coiled round between the outer wall of the insert and the inner wall of the housing or of the top piece, as a seal. <IMAGE>

Ein Bodenablauf mit einem oben offenen Gehäuse, von dem seitlich ein horizontaler Ablaufstutzen abgeht und mit einem in Gehäuse herausnehmbar angeordneten, dagegen abgedichteten Einsatz mit einer Tauchwand zum Bilden eines Geruchverschlusses und mit einem einsetzbaren Aufsatzstück weist für eine bessere Reinigungsfähigkeit und eine größere Modellvariabilität an dem herausnehmbaren Einsatz auch die Überfallwand sowie einen Boden zur Bildung eines die Wasservorlage des Geruchverschlusses aufnehmenden Topfes auf, wobei die lichte Weite des Aufsatzstückes größer als die horizontalen Abmessungen des Einsatzes ist. Als Dichtung ist zwischen der Außenwand des Einsatzes und der Innenwand des Gehäuses oder des Aufsatzstückes ein Rollring eingerollt.
