[origin: EP0124904A2] 1. Tap changing switch of the load selector type with a plurality of stationary contacts (K1, K2, K3) which are arranged on a path (1), are electrically insulated from one another, and are intended for being connected to the taps of the regulating transformer, with a movable contact carrier (2) carrying one main contact (H) and two auxiliary contacts (M1, M2) located on one side each of the main contact and arranged to be brought into contact with said stationary contacts, and with at least one controllable valve circuit (T1, T2) mounted on the movable contact carrier (2) between the main contact (H) and each of the two auxiliary contacts (M1, M2) and being controllable in both direction, characterized in that the control circuits (3) associated to said valve circuits (T1, T2) are mounted on the movable contact carrier (2) and are arranged to carry current only when a switch-over takes place between the various transformer taps, and that the control circuits (3) for the valve circuits (T1, T2) are connected between the movable auxiliary contacts (M1, M2) for being supplied by a supply voltage.
