Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Befestigen von Verblendschalen an Tragkörpern von Stühlen wie Bürodrehstühlen u.a., wobei an der Innenseite der Verblendschale ein Haltekörper fest angebracht ist, welcher eine schwalbenschwanzförmige Führung für einen in diese Führung einzuschiebenden Gleitstein nebst Befestigungsnocken aufweist, welcher wiederum in eine entsprechende Bohrung eines Tragkörpers zum Einrasten gebracht werden kann.
