[origin: US4530282A] A printing attachment for a rotary printing press comprises first and second cooperating cylinders rotatably mounted on respective first and second shafts. The first shaft is supported by holding devices for movement by a power operated device and the second shaft is mounted on a frame. Each shaft has at each end a support member, such as an annular or disc-shaped member, which faces a respective support member on the other shaft. Each support member on the first shaft can be brought into contact with a respective support member on the second shaft as well as into contact with one of a pair of parallel arranged further support members, at spaced positions along the first support members, by the power operated device to engage the first cylinder. The position of at least one pair of support members is adjustable to alter the operating position of one cylinder relative to the other.

Mit der Erfindung sollen die Voraussetzungen für einen wirklichen "Kiss-print-Druck" geschaffen werden, insbesondere beim indirekten Hochdruck. Bei einem Druckwerk für Rotationsdruckmaschinen sind dazu für Stützkörper eines ersten Zylinders (1) zwei Abstützungen im Sinne einer Zweipunkt-Anlage vorgesehen, von denen die eine jeweils durch einen Stützkörper (12) eines zweiten Zylinders (2) gebildet ist. Die beiden Zylinder (1, 2) sind jeweils auf einer Achse (A1, A2) mittels Wälzlagern drehbar gelagert, wobei die Stützkörper (11, 12) von diesen Achsen getragen sind. Die Enden der Achse (A1) des ersten Zylinders (1) sind lösbar in Halterungen (20) aufgenommen, die im Sinne eines An- und Abstellens des ersten Zylinders (1) bewegbar sind.
