[origin: EP0126060A2] The invention relates to a method and a device for transformation of anion-exchanger resins containing in particular noxious substances, or of mixtures containing said resins, by making use of heat treatment in an environmentally friendly, storable condition, it being the case that for the purpose of achieving a highly stable final stored form the resins or mixtures are heated in the presence of, or in contact with, water and an alkaline substance at least as far as incipient decomposition of the anion exchangers, and the essentially dry compound formed in the process is filled into a container which is provided for intermediate and/or final storage and preferably contains an embedding compound, and an embedding compound for anion exchanger resins and mixtures containing the latter, which has bitumen and/or paraffin and/or tall-oil pitch as basic compound, and is mixed with at least 0.5% by weight of reactive amine-binding additives. <IMAGE>
