The device has a hydraulic hammer (1) with an insertable tool (2) which is acted upon in a pulsed manner by a percussion piston (13) guided in the housing (11) of the hydraulic hammer (1). The tool (2) essentially consists of a basic body (21) which has a bore (30) leading to the tool tip (28) and of a pressure piston (22) which is guided in a pressure cylinder (27) inside the basic body (21). The pressure piston (22) has an axial bore (45) from which at least one transverse connection (47) leading to the outside branches off. From the pressure cylinder (27), at least one pressure-medium return line (37) leads to the outside. The pressure piston (22) can have a peripheral groove (43) from which a transverse connection (46) leads to the centre bore (45). <IMAGE>

Die Vorrichtung weist einen Hydraulikhammer (1) mit einem einsetzbaren Werkzeug (2) auf, das impulsartig von einem in dem Gehäuse (11) des Hydraulikhammers (1) geführten Schlagkolben (13) beaufschlagt wird. Das Werkzeug (2) besteht im wesentlichen aus einem Grundkörper (21), der eine zur Werkzeugspitze (28) führende Bohrung (30) aufweist, und einem in dem Grundkörper (21) geführten Druckkolben (22), der in einem Druckzylinder (27) innerhalb des Grundkörpers (21) geführt ist. Der Druckkolben (22) weist eine axiale Bohrung (45) auf, von der mindestens eine nach außen führende Querverbindung (47) abzweigt. Von dem Druckzylinder (27) geht mindestens eine Druckmittelrückleitung (37) nach außen. Der Druckkolben (22) kann eine Umfangsnut (43) aufweisen, von der eine Querverbindung (46) zu der mittigen Bohrung (45) geht.
