[origin: EP0126437A2] In an apparatus for the preparation of medical ointments and like viscose or pasty compositions in a rotationally symmetrical dish 3, which can be driven by means of a motor 6 about its own axis and is intended for the ingredients which are to be processed, a shaft 8 is suspended vertically displaceably, is provided with a rotary drive 13 and, in the position lowered into the dish 3, forms with the dish 3 a gap 11 for the ingredients which are to be processed. In this arrangement, the dish 3 is designed on the inside to taper conically downwards and has a hemispherical bottom.
