[origin: EP0126841A2] A loudspeaker diaphragm consisting of two paper layers between which there is a layer which consists of a plastic material having small discontinuities (6), a modulus of elasticity of more than 25,000 daN/cm<2>, and a thickness at least equal to that of one of the paper layers and at the most three times this thickness, and which bonds the two paper layers together over their entire area. This diaphragm is particularly lightweight and rigid. <IMAGE>
