Abstract (en)
1. Heat-sensitive recording/transfer material for thermal printers equipped with heat-actuated printing heads, the material comprising a thin carrier-sheet whose back-surface has a heat-meltable transferable coating which can be melted by heat applied to the front surface of the carrier-sheet, the coating containing a pigment, a wax to act as binder and conventional auxillary substances, characterised in that the heat-meltable coating contains a vinylacetate-polyethylene copolymer wax, a modified hydrocarbon wax, or a mixture of the two, with a softening temperature of 95 to 115 degrees C, together with a film-forming thermoplastic binder, the ratio by weight of wax to binder being between 10 to 1 and 30 to 1, to give the coating a melting point of 101 to 110 degrees C.

Wärmeempfindliches Aufzeichnungs/Übertragungsmaterial für Thermodrucker mit Wärmekopf mit einer auf der Rückseite dünnen Trägermaterials angeordneten Heißschmelzschicht, die durch auf die Vorderseite des Trägermaterials einwirkende Wärme auf darunter angeordnete Empfangsflächen übertragbar ist. Die Heißschmelzschicht enthält ein oxidiertes Polyäthylenwachs, ein Vinylacetat-Copolymer, ein modifiziertes Kohlenwasserstoffharz oder eine Mischung derselben und ein filmbildendes thermoplastisches Bindemittel im Gewichtsverhältnis 10:1 bis 30:1 und ein Farbpigment und übliche Hilfsstoffe, wobei die Schicht einen Schmelzpunkt von 101°-110° aufweist.
