[origin: US4549582A] The apparatus comprises an injector nozzle, for instance on the loom take-up roll. The injector nozzle has a plurality of air supply passages or channels opening into an extraction conduit surrounding the selvedge to be removed or extracted. The selvedge is pulled through the injector nozzle by the air coming out of the air supply passages and conducted through a tube or hose into a waste container. The injector nozzle for extracting cut-off fabric parts is especially suited for sensitive materials, e.g. glass fiber yarns. When for instance the selvedge contains severed weft thread ends of glass fiber material, the latter are particularly well protected against breakage due to the extracting injector nozzle.

Die Vorrichtung enthält z.B. an der Warenabzugswalze (19) eine Injektordüse (25). Diese besitzt mehrere, in einen die abzuziehende Hilfskante (18) umschliessenden Abziehkanal (33) mündende Luftzuführungs-Elementarkanäle (39). Durch die aus diesen kommende Luft wird die Hilfskante (18) durch die Injektordüse (25) gezogen und über einen Schlauch (26) in einen Abfallbehälter (27) geleitet. Die Injektordüse zum Abziehen von abgeschnittenen Gewebeteilen eignet sich besonders für empfindliche Materialien, z.B. für Glasfasergarne. Wenn beispielsweise die Hilfskante (18) abgeschnittene Schussfadenenden (53) aus Glasfasermaterial enthält, sind diese aufgrund der Injektorabziehdüse (25) besonders gegen Brechen geschont.
