[origin: US4528717A] A flat press for squeezing fluid out of a moist element which is attached to a support has a base provided with a plurality of throughholes for allowing discharge of the fluid and a cover movable towards the base so as to be pressed thereagainst. For squeezing or pressing out, the elements are introduced between the base and the cover together with the support. In order to provide a higher degree of dryness during the pressing, the base and if necessary the cover are provided with a lining of elastic material, for example of foam rubber.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Flachpresse (10) zum Auspressen von Naßwischbezügen, die auf einen Halter aufgespannt sind. Die Flachpresse besteht aus einem Boden (12) und einem gegen diesen anpreßbaren Deckel (20). Zum Auspressen werden die Bezüge mit Halter zwischen Boden und Deckel eingelegt und dann ausgepreßt. Um einen höheren Trockenheitsgrad beim Auspressen zu erreichen ist der Boden ung ggf. auch der Deckel mit einem Belag (22) aus einem elastischen Material, wie z.B. Schaumgummi, versehen.
