[origin: US4579412A] A transfer plug system for electrical or electronic controls or devices having coding parts which correspond to one another mechanically and are attached at a cable housing as well as in the area of a counter-plug element, the coding parts being brought into engagement with one another and held by means of a shared locking element, the locking element thus operating to fulfill a dual function of coding for preventing faulty plugging and of fastening and locking the plug housing at plates or in a structural component part carrier.

Bei einem Übergabestecksystem für elektrische bzw. elektronische Steuerungen oder Geräte, sind sowohl am Kabelgehäuse (15) als auch im Bereich der Gegensteckelemente (6), miteinander mechanisch korrespondierende Kodierteile (17, 18) angebracht, die über ein gemeinsames Verriegelungselement (5) miteinander in Eingriff gebracht und gehalten werden; das Verriegelungselement (5) erfüllt also die Doppelfunktion der Kodierung zur Verhinderung von Fehlsteckungen, wie auch der Befestigung bzw. Verriegelung der Steckergehäuse (15) an den Platinen (1) bzw. im Baugruppenträger.
