1. Device for locking the lateral leaf (2) of a two-leaf window, door or the like without a fixed middle post to the top and bottom transverse member or the like of a fixed frame, with bolts (12, 13) adapted to be pushed out upwardly and downwardly respectively, each bolt (12, 13) being formed by or being connected to the free end of a drive rod (14, 15) and the drive rods being displaceable in opposite directions by means of a handle (18) and a reversing device (19) comprising an actuable rotary member (28), the drive rods being furthermore disposed in a housing slot (10) in the longitudinal member (4) of the lateral leaf which is remote from the pivot axis, the housing slot (10) being masked by a cover rail (20), characterised in that the total cross-section of cover rail (20) and reversing device (19), measured transversely to the frame plane, corresponds substantially to the cross-section of the housing slot (10), those ends of the drive rods (14, 15) which are on the same side as the reversing device each forming a displaceable part of the reversing device (19) or in that each is connected directly to a displaceable element of the reversing device (19), the displaceable parts of the reversing device or the drive rod ends co-operating with the rotary member.

Um den Nebenflügel (2) eines zweiflügeligen Fensters, einer Tür od. dgl. ohne festen Mittelstoß unabhängig vom Hauptflügel (1) mit einem festen Rahmen verriegeln, aber trotzdem drehbar lagern zu können, wird an einer genormten oder zumindest in herkömmlicher Weise dimensionierten, nach außen absatzweise erweiterten Nut (10) eine Verriegelungsvorrichtung anmontiert. Sie umfaßt einen nach oben ausschiebbaren Riegel (12) und einen nach unten ausfahrbaren Riegel (13). Jeder Riegel ist mit einer Treibstange (14 bzw. 15) verbunden, insbesondere daran angeformt. Die Treibstangen sind schiebbar an einer Stulpschiene (22) gelagert und daran mit Hilfe von Führungsstücken (21) gehalten. Mittels einer Handhabe (18) wird ein Drehglied (28), vorzugsweise ein Ritzel, betätigt. Mit dem Ritzel sind zwei Zahnstangen (29 und 30) gekuppelt, wobei sich das Ritzel zwischen den beiden Zahnstangen befindet. Letztere sind je an einer Treibstange befestigt, vorzugsweise auch angeformt. Demnach bewirkt eine Drehung der Handhabe (18) und aufgrund der Verbindung über eine Welle (32) auch des Ritzels (28) in der einen Drehrichtung, beispielsweise um 180°, das Ausfahren der beiden Riegel (12 und 13) nach oben bzw. unten. Eine Drehung in Gegenrichtung führt zur Entriegelung des Nebenflügels (2).
