Connecting-rod fitting for windows, doors or the like, with closing studs (8) which project on the connecting rods (7) and which, in the locking position, engage behind retaining shoulders (12) of counterclosing parts (9, 9') located on the frame, and with a device for obtaining a slightly open ventilation position of the window leaf (2) relative to the window frame (1) in an intermediate position of the connecting-rod actuating handle (6) between opening and closing positions, the device having, on a closing plate (16, 16"') located on the frame, a run-on slope (17, 17'), the vertex zone (18) of which is located opposite a catching shoulder (19), and, in the slightly open ventilation position of the window leaf (2), one of the closing studs (8) being received with a locking effect and with a spring-loaded clamping fit between the vertex zone (18) and catching shoulder (19) in a plane shifted ahead of the retaining shoulder (12) outwards relative to the rebate, characterized in that the catching shoulder (19) is formed by one leg of an angle slide (20) which is guided in the closing plate (16, 16"') by means of a guide leg (21), and in that the guide leg (21) has angled engaging noses (24) which are surrounded by a plastic part forming a spring (25) and located in a pocket (26) on the underside of the closing plate (16).
