In a coding method for an electronic key, a number of code numbers 1 to n are stored in the transmitter (1) and in the receiver (2) and a new corresponding code number is set automatically in the transmitter (1) and receiver (2) after every transmission and reception operation. The code emitted by the transmitter (1) contains information for the receiver (2) as to which code number is to be selected next from the stock. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Verfahren zur Code-Sicherung für einen elektronischen Schlüssel werden im Sender (1) und im Empfänger (2) eine Anzahl von Code-Nummern 1 bis n gespeichert und nach jedem Sende- und Empfangsvorgang im Sender (1) und Empfänger (2) eine neue übereinstimmende Code-Nummer selbsttätig eingestellt. Der vom Sender (1) ausgesandte Code enthält eine Information für den Empfänger (2), welche Code-Nummer als nächste aus dem gespeicherten Vorrat auszuwählen ist.
