Abstract (en)
In a process for treating the surfaces of aluminium heat exchangers which are provided with a corrosion-protective coating, the corrosion-protective coating is aftertreated, in order to apply an adherent, hydrophilic coating, with a dispersion which contains fine clay particles, preferably having a particle size of from 1 to 100 nanometres. The dispersion may additionally contain a surfactant, fine particles of silica or silicate and/or water-soluble synthetic resin. The weight of the coating produced by the aftertreatment should be from 0.01 to 5 g/m<2>, preferably from 0.1 to 1 g/m<2> (in the dry state).

Bei einem Verfahren zur Oberflächenbehandlung von Wärmeaustauscheroberflächen aus Aluminium, die mit einem korrosionsschützenden Überzug versehen sind, wird zur Aufbringung eines festhaftenden hydrophilen Überzuges der korrosionsschützende Überzug mit einer Dispersion, die Tonerde-Feinpartikel, vorzugsweise mit einer Teilchengröße von 1 bis 100 Nanometer, enthält, nachbehandelt. Die Dispersion kann zusätzlich Tensid, Feinpartikel aus Kieselsäure oder Silikat und/oder wasserlösliches Kunstharz enthalten. Das Gewicht der durch die Nachbehandlung erzeugten Schicht sollte 0,01 bis 5 g/m², vorzugsweise von 0,1 bis 1 g/m² (in trockenem Zustand), betragen.
