Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0128805A2] An atomizer for mixing a compressible fluid such as air or steam with a liquid fuel to atomize the latter, in which a pair of tubular members are disposed in a concentrically-spaced relationship with the compressible fluid being introduced to the inner-tubular member and the liquid fuel being introduced in the annular space between the two members. A mixing chamber is provided for receiving the fuel and the fluid, and is in communication with a continuous annular discharge passage for discharging the atomized fuel.
