Heat exchanger comprising a collector plate (3) having a peripheral groove (4) delimited on the outside by a rising edge (8) in which teeth or tongues (9) having substantially the shape of a solid with uniform bending resistance are shaped and separated by crenellations. The crimping of the teeth or tongues (9) is performed with a tool (11) which moves either in the plane of the collector plate (3), or perpendicularly to the latter. <IMAGE>

Echangeur de chaleur comportant une plaque collectrice (3) présentant une rainure périphérique (4) délimitée à l'extérieur par un bord montant (8) dans lequel des dents ou languettes (9) présentant sensiblement la forme d'un solide d'égale résistance à la flexion sont formées et séparées par des crénaux. Le sertissage des dents ou languettes (9) est assuré par un outil (11) se déplaçant soit dans le plan de la plaque collectrice (3), soit perpendiculairement à celui-ci.
