[origin: US4583938A] A gas burner of the air and combustible gas mixture type includes a flame control cell mounted away from the actual flame. The control cell, by being located away from the actual flame, can monitor the operating conditions of the flame and, in response thereto, controls the flow of air and gas, the firing of the lighting electrode and the regulating of the gas intake valve. The control cell is further protected from the flame and any possible backfires by a pressure differential existing between the injected air and combustible gas mixture.

L'invention se rapporte à un brûleur à gaz du type à prémélange et à contrôle de flamme. Selon l'invention la cellule (12) de contrôle de flamme est placée en arrière de la chambre (2) de répartition et de la grille (5) de stabilisation de flamme, la lecture du fonctionnement du brûleur se faisant à travers la chambre (2) et la grille (5). L'invention s'applique notamment à l'équipement d'installations à tube immergé.
