Abstract (en)
The machine according to the invention comprises a first assembly of elements possessing a tool-holding member (29) for receiving a tool to be ground, and a second assembly receiving a spindle for mounting a grinding tool such as a grinding wheel (6), these two assemblies being mounted on a common baseplate (2). In this machine there are provided means enabling the said spindle to be rotated about an axis (L-M) along which it can also move translationally, this axis being perpendicular to an axis of rotation of the assembly carrying the tool-holding member, which constitutes a fixed reference axis Z for the machine, and preferably intersecting it. The first assembly of elements in particular comprises a table which moves in directions at 90 DEG to each other along axes X and Y, and a grooving plate (27) rotating about the axis Z. The second assembly in particular comprises a spindle-holding member (12) enabling the grinding wheel (6) to be driven in rotation about its axis, and a device making it possible to rotate the spindle-holding member about an axis M coinciding with the axis L. <IMAGE>

La machine d'affûtage selon l'invention comprend un premier ensemble d'éléments comportant un organe porte-outil (29) pour recevoir un outil à affûter, et un second ensemble recevant une broche de montage d'un outil affûtant tel qu'une meule (6), ces deux ensembles étant montés sur un socle commun (2). Dans cette machine, il est prévu des moyens permettant de mettre en rotation ladite broche autour d'un axe (L-M) le long duquel elle est également mobile en translation, cet axe étant perpendiculaire à un axe de rotation de l'ensemble portant l'organe porte-outil, qui constitue un axe de référence fixe Z de la machine, et le coupant de préférence. Le premier ensemble d'éléments comprend notamment une table à mouvements croisés à 90 degrés selon des axes X et Y, et un plateau rayonneur (27) tournant autour de l'axe Z. Le second ensemble comprend notamment un organe porte-broche (12), permettant l'entraînement de la meule (6) en rotation autour de son axe, et un dispositif permettant de faire entrer l'organe porte-broche en rotation autour d'un axe M confondu avec l'axe L.
