[origin: WO8402569A1] In an air conditioning system for rooms in which the cold and hot air is admitted by means of two ducts leading to an air control unit which has an exhaust connected with the room or area to be conditioned the air streams are to be controlled with the least possible waste of energy. To this end the air control unit (10) is designed so that the baffles (20) controlling the admittance of hot and cold air respectively to the unit are alternately opened depending on the heating or cooling demand without the two baffles being open at the same time. Thus, the two air streams are not mixed to any essential extent during the normal operation of the system.

Dans un système de conditionnement d'air pour des pièces où l'admission d'air chaud et d'air froid se fait par deux conduits se dirigeant vers une unité de commande de l'air, cette unité possédant une évacuation reliée avec la pièce ou zone à climatiser, il faut perdre le moins d'énergie possible en commandant les flux d'air. C'est ainsi que l'unité de commande de l'air (10) est conçue de manière à permettre aux déflecteurs (20) contrôlant l'admission d'air chaud, respectivement froid à l'unité d'être ouverts alternativement, selon la demande d'air chaud ou d'air froid, sans que les deux déflecteurs soient ouverts en même temps. Ainsi, les deux flux d'air ne sont pratiquement pas mélangés pendant le fonctionnement normal du système.
