[origin: US4595813A] The rollers (2) carrying a steel strip (1) to be heated between two rolling mill procedures are mainly constituted by a lamination of magnetic sheet metal plates to channel the variable magnetic flux generated by inductors which consist of magnetic circuits (4) and field coils (5), and so that the rollers are not heated up by this flux.

Les rouleaux (2) transportant un plat d'acier (1) à réchauffer entre deux passages au laminoir sont essentiellement constitués par un feuilletage de tôles magnétiques pour canaliser le flux magnétique variable crée par des inducteurs comportant des circuits magnétiques (4) et des bobines d'excitation (5), et pour que ces rouleaux ne soient pas chauffés par ce flux. L'invention s'applique notamment aux trains de laminoirs.
