Abstract (en)
A sealing gasket is formed on the inner surface of a screw closure for a container by application of a molten composition comprising thermoplastic polymeric material and slip aid and optionally also containing wax and/or plasticising resin. The method is of particular value in the formation of gaskets for plastic screw caps for pressurised containers.
